Ustad Rashid Khan has been an inspiration for music lovers across the world. Indian Classical Music is known for its richness, heritage and creative independence for centuries. Ustad Rashid Khan has popularized Indian classical music extensively in his lifetime. Rashid has been a family friend of ours. His sudden demise in early 2024 has left a deep mark of sadness and pain in the entire music community . Every member of our family has been deeply moved by his demise. This video is a humble tribute to him. I have learned music since my early childhood. Nothing has ever touched me ever as deeply as music did. I had an inspiration as a little girl to be a Lata Mangeshkar . However, destiny had planned something different for me . Today , I have come up as a music therapist and Heal people with my music. Since Rashid's music had always touched the soul deeply... I felt , I must express a few thoughts of mine as they came to me. This video is the result of that. May his soul rest in peace. May his family members and all his loved ones be ever-blessed by The Almighty !
