Laying more emphasis on the A and B permit. In April 2022, the Finnish government made some adjustments to the study immigration laws and one of the new rules was that International students coming to study at the a University or University of Applied Sciences will no longer be issued the annually temporary B type residence permit, rather they would be issued an A continuous residence permit for the total duration of their studies here in Finland. That was a wonderful development which I believed helped international students to ease the burden and stress of worrying to renew their study permit each year. In this video I also talked about the duration of stay towards getting a Permanent residence permit in Finland for an A and B residence permit hold.
