This information is known from the action plan taken by Bangladesh Railway on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha. The Cox's Bazar Eid Special Train which was launched last Eid-ul-Fitr was scheduled to run for a total of 14 days before and after Eid, but in view of the demands of the passengers, the train was scheduled to run till June 10 after several extensions. However, the train movement was cancelled on May 30 due to the shortage of engine and loco master from the mechanical department. There was outrage among the passengers because of this decision.
