Alberta Gujarati Association is hosting the Gujarati Cultural Festival (GCF) which will take place in Edmonton from August 3-6, 2023. This is a unique opportunity to showcase Gujarati talent in Raas, Garba & Folk dances as well as participate in many cultural activities. In the midst of their multifaceted lives as working women as well as homemakers at the same time, these Edmonton divas pour love and unwavering commitment into every task they perform while keeping a harmonious balance as providers and pillars of love for their family. Their nurturing spirit creates a tapestry of care and strength that embraces their loved ones with boundless affection. Despite living far from their hometown in India, their hearts still constantly dances to the rhythm of Gujarati garba and folk dance, their love for the vibrant traditions intertwining seamlessly with their devotion, bridging the distance and keeping their cultural heritage alive.
