Swanage Railway: Steam On The Jurassic Coast

Nestled on the south coast of England lies the town of Swanage. The town of Swanage is home to a 9 and a half mile heritage railway of named the Swanage Railway. The Swanage Railway runs on Ex-Southern Railway trackage and uses Southern equipment to operate it. The locomotives that would be running during our visit would be Southern Railway west country class pacific 34028 "Eddystone" and U Class 2-6-0 31806. For our first ever time filming British steam the railway and engines did not disappoint. The Swanage Railway has many stations that they stop on along the line. But the highlight of the railway is the ruins of Corfe Castle. A beautiful railway in a beautiful part of England! Filmed on July 22 & 23, 2024 This video may not be reproduced in any way or form.
