Can the church work together to achieve PEACE? with Ray Kim | Ep 80 | September 21, 2024

Ray Kim has quite the interesting educational background. He has a Ph.D from Georgetown and is a sociologist of religion. His specialty is Contemporary Islam and Christianity. Currently, Ray is a Program Developer with the “International Center for Religion & Diplomacy (ICRD)”, an organization that helps empower people from all different faith backgrounds, to bring peace and unity to their communities and the greater good. Jeff and Ray spend some time talking about a workshop that Ray put together with faith leaders in Portland. The workshop centered around working together, to build peace within their communities, by utilizing the skills, resources, and influence that they already possess. The growing political and cultural unrest around the country can be daunting, so this was a chance to do positive work, to achieve peace and work through conflict.
