Love the sweet tenderness of Ed Sheeran in his video. This is indeed one of the most covered love songs out there. It seems every other week, someone uploads a beautiful rendition. Nevertheless, I really wanted to learn it and everyone brings something unique to the table. My version is a little slower and on the tender side. Hope you enjoy it! Over two years ago, I sold my pedal harp thinking that I would just focus on lever harps. Over the past two years, I've played many different harps with different tonal qualities, and I've come to realize how much I love harps with warmer, rounder tones, and that they suit my playing style better. So after much consideration, I've come in full circles and decided to venture back into the pedal harp world. I now have a greater appreciation for the fullness and richness of the overall tonal quality of pedal harps. The harp I'm playing is my new Camac Clio Ex. I've had it since March this year and am just ecstatic with it. The string tension feels perfect for my fingers and allows for greater dynamic expressions and nuanced playing. Granted, I will never be a concert harpist nor do I aspire to be. It's the tonal quality and the ability to play more chromatic songs I'm after, and I am so happy I've found my new best friend! For those who wonder just how many harps I own LOL, I currently have 4: Camac Clio Ex, Thormahlen Serenade, Musicmakers Sonnet, and Stoney End Double-Strung Ena.
