Real 737 Captain flies the PMDG 737-800! | First Look and Impression

Join me live in the PMDG 737-800 as we review it on release day and compare it to the Real Boeing 737-800, an aircraft I have logged over 5000 hours flying and 1500 hours instructing in a Full Motion Level D Simulator. For our inaugural stream we will complete a Full Setup from Cold and Dark and fly a short sector from Leeds Bradford (ENGM) to Newquay (EGHQ) which will include some General Handling. Upon reaching Newquay we will complete a touch and go and fly straight into the visual circuit followed by a 2nd approach to a full stop landing. After a quick turnaround we will return to Leeds to fly the Procedural NDB Approach onto RW32. Throughout the flight I’ll be following my operator’s SOP’s and real world procedures to see if the PMDG 737-800 lives up to the hype and see how it compares to both the real thing and the excellent Freeware ZIBO MOD 737-800.
