Experience Whale Watching

"WOW what an EXPERIENCE!" Joy and I have been on a trip, visiting our daughter and her husband in the Pacific Northwest.  On our flight home, I'm enjoying my memories, photos, and videos of the experiences that we shared. I have a massive sense of wonder, awe and gratitude. Even after traveling hiccups, "missed opportunities," less than perfect conditions... (messy living process and growing opportunities happen everywhere even trips :)) I am still overwhelmingly grateful and thankful for all of the experiences.   Here are three thoughts that I have as I process my experience of the past week: Life experiences add value. Life experiences require investment.  Life experiences expand, enhance and multiply when shared. On this trip we got to share the precious experience of seeing orcas in the wild.  Our daughter chose to stand, gazing through binoculars, instead of staring at a screen.  Right here, right now.  She was not just a spectator of her life but fully present in it. Experiencing this together amplified our delight.  We got to see the culmination of three years of our daughter's orca tracking efforts, where faith became sight.  As the Proverb says: "Hope deferred makes the heart sick, a desire fulfilled is a tree of life."  Proverbs 13:12 NASB (especially when experience is shared through our ever present connection) Please expand your experience by sharing in our experience of these whale watching moments of unforgettable experience (captured on video).
