Yamaha CS1x pt 4. Virtual Analog Sounds from the 90s. My first session with this bargain synth, is it underrated or not? I hesitated, it does look a little weird with its angled sides. And we all know that the 90s wasn't always that great in sound, when the big three started making synths sounding too digital and cold. After 5 minutes of pressing keys and pushing buttons I was positively surprised and decided to make a video. CS1x is the first CS named synth Yamaha made since the 70s, but don't be fooled by the name, it is not an analog CS, it is very much digital. But the initial feeling is that it is very digital in a nice, retro way. What do you think?
