4K UHD - Got Back Tour! - "I've Got a Feeling" Paul McCartney & John Lennon in first encore of 2022!

YouTube 4K UHD (2160p) version. Check it out! An absolutely incredible moment in an absolutely perfect concert! Total chills the instant that John appeared on the stage, courtesy of a brilliant audio/video edit by Peter Jackson. Sir Paul took my sky high expectations for the return of a legend and literally blew them away! The video starts as the crowd is chanting for the encore, wait for it, the encore is coming. It begins with a return to the stage by Paul and his band, carrying Flags from Ukraine, USA, United Kingdom, and Washington State, followed by Paul announcing to the crowd "We've got something a bit special for you." Watch closely and you will see an especially tender moment where Paul turns around to look up at John right before he appears on the screens. Wow. Paul stated after the song finished that he had been contacted by Peter Jackson who asked him if he would like to play with John again on stage. He then told Paul he had stripped the original "I've Got a Feeling" video down to just John's voice to make it possible. Paul said, Yeah! It's cool to remember that I've Got a Feeling" is an actual Lennon & McCartney song. Originally they were all published under Lennon/McCartney and only much later did they start to distinguish who actually wrote a song, Paul or John. This one is a combination of two unfinished songs: Paul McCartney's "I've Got a Feeling" and John Lennon's "Everybody Had a Hard Year". That makes it perhaps even sweeter that John's performance was included. Some of the best music (obviously), the best technology, the best light show, and best pyrotechnics I've probably ever seen! Oh Yeah! _______________________________________________________________________________ Update: There are a few themes appearing in the comments that I thought I might address, The sound isn’t great. - I’m taking this one as a compliment that the video looks so good, why doesn’t the audio sound as good? Remember folks, it was just a cell phone. The crowd was too quiet. - All I can say to that is It was nearing hour three and everyone was happily emotionally worn out. Everyone I talked to who went to the concert said it was one of (if not the best) concerts they had ever attended. They were beyond thrilled to have been able to attend despite not screaming the entire time. The end result was that you could hear all the music, as opposed to the concert at Shea Stadium for instance where the Beatles couldn’t even hear themselves playing due to all the teeny boppers screaming at the very top of their lungs. Having John on the screen was manipulative and tacky. - No amount of convincing could ever change my mind that this was not a genuine and real moment for Paul, having the opportunity to sing live again with his friend and fellow Beatle, John. Truly magical. Paul’s voice is worn out, so he shouldn’t be touring. – Again, no one will ever be able to convince me that Paul’s voice being weaker than when he was younger makes him incompatible for the tour. The concert was a tour de force that did a fantastic job balancing out his voice. Sir Paul is aging which, “Spoiler Alert”, happens to everyone. Your time will come. I am so grateful he was willing to get out and tour at least one more time. He doesn’t need the money, doesn’t need the fame, doesn’t need the praise, he doesn’t need anyone’s affirmation. Trust me, he’s good. His life as a musician is kind of above comparison to almost anyone else and I believe he is touring because he knows there are people (like me) who would absolutely cherish the experience (and it might even make him feel good too). Come with realistic expectations and you will love this concert. That’s all folks.
