Gotham Central is a 2002 comic series from DC Comics, written by Ed Brubaker and Greg Rucka, and illustrated by artists including Michael Lark. Set in the city made famous by Batman, this book follows the GCPD as they deal with corruption and crime, whilst also dealing with Two Face, The Joker and many other members of The Dark Knight's rogues gallery. Despite poor sales in single issues, the series was Eisner nominated, received the Omnibus treatment, and is the basis for a TV Show set within Matt Reeves' The Batman Universe. But over 20 years after its debut, how does the series hold up today?
