How to SILENCE an abusive local footy crowd!

I put it to the footy community to where I should play in Melbourne over the weekend and the response was crazy! I chose to play for my good mate Tim Bongetti's team, the Eltham Pantherns! They currently play in Division 1 in the Northern Football League! What I didn't realise was that it was an incredibly important game for the club, staring down relegation at seasons end. The Panthers were playing bottom of the ladder team in the Macleod Football Club! This was a bloody physical battle as both teams came to play. The Macleod cheer squad (mainly ressie nuffies) were very vocal and there was only one way to shut them up.. Is to actually try hard. The conditions suited me well, absolutely freezing and raining for majority of the match! The club was so welcoming, the hospitality was the best i've ever experienced! Massive shout-out to Joe Fortune for flying me down, putting me up in accomodation for the weekend.
