SPECIAL THANKS to Pipo from discord for translating the song to English. Notes by Pipo: 1) There are no direct english translations for "oriflama" and "pabellon" 2) "Pabellon" is an old word, it's hard to translate, so is "oriflama" 3) Pipo has consented to have their translation used for this video --------------- "Mi Bandera" is a Filipino patriotic march celebrating the Philippine flag. It was composed by Fransisco Buencamino in 1919, in celebration of the repealing of the Flag Law which banned the display of the Philippine flag and other nationalist symbols during the early years of American occupation. Spanish lyrics were written by Alberto Campos. --------------- SOURCES Audio Recording: "Mi Bandera" performed by Guillermo Gomez-Rivera.
