Stay Alive Lights

Stay Alive Lights Video V.77 THIS IS NOT A HOW TO BUT WHAT I DO ( THIS IS TO INSPIRE NOT TEACH ) **Please note ** All capacitors used are rated in MICRO-FARADS A capacitor at 1000 farads is the size of a loco which would be dangerous 🤦🏻‍♂️ - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Stay Alive Lighting In this video I look at adding a stay alive / keep alive unit to a rolling chassis with LED's The video covers two types of Stay Alive units that both do the same job, one is with a capacitor, diode and resister. and the other is a capacitor, bridge rectifier and a resistor. Apologies for the foggy front screen - I hadn't blown up the shed, just where the camera was attacked with a small speck of dust - and after editing and filming three times I couldn't be arsed to re shoot the first scene again.. sometimes life is just too short lol... Components are purchased from online retailers and suppliers. List of components used. 100K, 100R, Resisters 25v 1000uf, 25v 470uf, Micro farad Capasitors 50v 1.5A Bridge Rectifer 1mm component wire. Disclaimer This is a How I do video only- using advice and support from other railway modelers, the components used are what where recommended at this time and with the project as I have shown in this video. As I understand many different components at different values could be used for home made stay alive units - this Video is to inspire other modellers to build and add effects to their models.
