Are Dragon Model Kits REALLY That Bad?

I remember back in the day when Dragon first released kits being gobsmacked at the level of detail, subjects and the inclusions in these kits, but as the years passed the first thought that springs to mind is the ton of redundant parts coupled with overcomplicated and confusing instructions. But were these kits as bad as some may suggest or is it just a case of brand bashing for brand bashings sake… My knowledge of the Shermans is basic at best, and I was learning as I went through the build, so if you see something that could be improved next time please let me know in the comments below. I’m building the M4 105mm which as the name suggests carried the 105mm howitzer.
