I can’t be the only one who reads things and thinks - hmm, I should give that a try. But that is exactly what happened with the Coffee Log Brick Experiment. While reading an article about composting I must have triggered the iPhone tracking what you are reading Gods because while scrolling Instagram I saw a picture of a coffee fire log brick, made from used coffee grounds. And because I thought this sounded like a better way to use coffee grounds than to use them to exfoliate my skin, I gave it a try. This particular brick is a small one - just about 3 days worth of dried coffee grinds. It worked out pretty well, and you better believe I am saving to make a much larger coffee fire log for the next outdoor fire. I hope I have inspired you to not be afraid to say - hmm, that sounds interesting. I think I will give that a try. And enjoy your coffee scented fire log.
