Expert: Uday Wavikar, VP, Consumer Court Bar and Association. Question: In 2009 I booked a flat with DLF in Essel Green, New Delhi. Now the property is ready but there some clauses of which I’m not comfortable. These follows that buyer must pay commission of Rs 10 on per sq. ft. every month according to builder. But the clause in agreement states that this compensation was supposed to be given by builder over delayed possession which is not happening. What should I do? Answer: You can go to the consumer forum or you can file a criminal complaint and ask for the money that is due to you because if the clause in the agreement says you entitled to a certain amount of money over delayed possession then you can get that money.
