In questo sito alle pendici del Vesuvio, a due passi da Pompei, si ritiene che sorgesse la dimora dell' imperatore Augusto. La particolarità del sito è data dal fatto che tutto sembra ruotasse attorno alla figura di Dioniso ed alla produzione di vino. Si è scoperto che grazie all' uso delle anfore il vino prodotto in questa zona fosse esportato in tutto l' impero romano. La collaborazione con Ciro Giordano di Cantine Olivella ha reso possibile la creazione di un' etichetta esclusiva per il nostro Wine Club: In Summa, vino ottenuto da uve Catalanesca affinate in anfora. In this area on the slopes of Vesuvius, a stone's throw from Pompeii, it is believed that the residence of the emperor Augustus stood. Here everything seems to be linked to the figure of Dionysus and the production of wine. It was discovered that thanks to the use of amphorae the wine produced in this area was exported throughout the Roman Empire.
