Holiday World Raging Rapids Replacement? | Construction Update and Mini-Speculation 10.19.24

This Holiday World mini construction update is more of a discussion! While visiting the park this fall, I was able to grab some quick video clips of the former site of Raging Rapids, a Hopkins River Rapids ride which closed permanently in 2023. The demolition of the ride is already complete, with nothing but flat dirt and a single pile of rubble left behind! While sharing these views, I discuss what I could see replacing the ride. While we have no information on when or what a replacement for the rapids may look like, I'm personally very much hoping for a new family coaster, such as a Gravity Group family woodie or a Vekoma family suspended to anchor the 4th of July area.
