Overlanding BOTSWANA Wild encounters in the Nxai Pans National Park & the Tuli Wilderness Reserve. This is an Adventure you have to do. Botswana is adventure, for any overlanding enthusiast, and one place I find myself coming back to over and over again, is the Nxai Pans area, where we explore the South Camp area, and the spiritual place that is Baines Baobabs. Overlanding in Botswana, and adventure traveling in the month of February to the Nxai Pan area is HOT, and I can't emphasis enough, that, this area is the furnace of Botswana, on account of the white reflective ancient Makgadikgadi lake bed sands. But, ol Ed and I pack up and make this 18 day adventure one to remember. We visit, South Camp, Nxai Pans and make camp at campsite number 8, we make a stop at campsite number 2 at the infamous Baines Baobabs, and finally, we make it to the Mohave campsite in the Tuli Wilderness Reserve, Botswana's best kept secret.
