Inaugurada em 1914, a Smith Tower foi o primeiro arranha-céus da cidade. Logo após a entrada, podemos explorar exposições que narram a história deste marco arquitetónico e a evolução de Seattle ao longo do século XX. A subida até ao observatório, situado no 35º andar, é feita no histórico elevador original de cobre com acabamentos Art Déco. No observatório, podemos desfrutar de vistas panorâmicas espetaculares de Seattle, incluindo o horizonte urbano, a baía de Elliott e as Montanhas Olímpicas. EN// Visiting the Smith Tower Observatory in Seattle is a charming experience that takes us back in time. Opened in 1914, the Smith Tower was the city's first skyscraper. Right after entering, we can explore exhibits that narrate the history of this architectural landmark and Seattle's evolution throughout the 20th century. The ascent to the observatory, located on the 35th floor, is made in the historic original copper elevator with Art Deco finishes. At the observatory, we can enjoy spectacular panoramic views of Seattle, including the urban skyline, Elliott Bay, and the Olympic Mountains.
