If you are planning to visit Mirissa beach town, Sri lanka, this video will help you plan the things to do in Mirissa including whale watching tour and the picturesque coconut tree hill. Beaches or Mountains? I want Vitamin SEA always! We covered the following 4 attractions (at a walking distance) in just one day, and there couldn’t have been a way to do that: 1. Whale watching Tour: Whale Watching in Mirissa is one of the top leisure activity in Mirissa. Thousands of tourists visit Mirissa purposely from all around the world to go whale watching and see how these ocean giants especially the Blue Whale behave in their natural habitat. We booked this tour from the hotel itself from the company called Chaminda: https://whalewatchingmirissa.lk/ 2. Coconut Tree Hill: Coconut Tree Hill is located at a walking distance from the beautiful Mirissa Beach.⛱️ It is such a beautiful place to enjoy looking into the horizon of the Indian ocean with this beautiful atmosphere of the trees around.🌴 It is open 24 hours and is absolutely free to visit. 3. Mirissa Beach: We thought of doing a beach hopping in order to visit some of the most famous beaches here, such as secret beach, but we ended up spending both the days at this beautiful Mirissa beach. The sand was so soft and that feeling of the huge waves hitting on the face throwing forcefully towards the sand was just out of the world. The left side of the bay is particularly popular with snorkelers while the right side of Mirissa Beach is a great surfing spot. 4. Sunset at Parrot Rock: The name derives from the shape of the Rock, and is a perfect place to watch a beautiful sunset. This is one of the popular tourist spots and is located at a walking distance from the Mirissa Beach. This is my last vlog from Sri Lanka Travel series and my favorite one too. Why?
