Stephens Design vintage HF wire for Leo Era Strat pickups.

I joined a Facebook group for Leo Fender era Stratocasters. I've always loved Strats and actually have been selling 3 or 4 standard Strat pickup sets for years, that have kind of been forgotten, since I've been focusing on the historical PAF subject for so many years now. I made ONE set of Strat pickups with vintage Heavy Formvar magnet wire. Did a video and it didn't get much notice, since Strats aren't as popular as Les Pauls are. Anyway dug it out again and plugged into Mick Grabham's JTM45 replica he build for me and finally found THE AMP that these pickups love! Strats need amps with SAG. I'm going to make one more set very soon, with vintage wire and experiment with A2 magnets in a bridge and see if it whispers a little closer to my 1958 Strat pickup I was gifted years ago. I demonstrated that '58 Strat pickup in a video I did against one I wound with vintage wire, and they were very close to eachother. The new set will be for sale soon and if it comes out super great I'll wind up the rest of the wire from the big spool. I only have ONE roll of this 50's wire so there were will only be a couple sets and they will not be cheap. This kind of wire hasn't been found in 15 years during my search for useable vintage wire. There's pretty much none of it left anymore, and much of it was wasted by amateurs. Enjoy....
