Day 48 Great European Bike Adventure

Today we cycled from Deventer in the province of Overijssel to Amersfoort in the province of Utrecht on day 48 of our great European bike adventure. Today’s ride was our first full day of cycling in the Netherlands, and what a wonderful variety of landscapes and historical infrastructure we witnessed. On todays route we visited the very impressive Het Loo Palace, we visited Radio Kootwijk and the Valleikanaal with its preserved WWII history. We arrived in Amersfoort where we have a rest day planned; we are looking forward to exploring this historic city
