Spektrum DX6i proportional crow flap/brake setup

Step by step guide to setup your Spektrum DX6i to control proportional crow flaps (aka crow brakes) on a 4 channel RC glider. The channels are rudder, elevator, ailerons and flaps - typical for RC slope soaring. The flaps are controlled using the throttle stick. Use the transmitter flap switch to select either proportional flaps on their own or proportional crow. The only annoying thing about this setup is that because the flap servos are connect by a Y-harness they both have to be installed in the same orientation. I haven't found a way to get round this but maybe you can! UPDATE - apparently Spektrum recommend that you don't use Y-harness so check this first. (Seems to work ok!) I've read a lot on the web about this setup not being possible with the DX6i so I hope this helps you. There are lots of good things about Spektrum kit but the instruction manual isn't one of them!
