Bench-testing the mo.Unit blue from Motogadget as well as the mo.Button before installing everything on the BMW R80. This step has helped me a lot, to really understand how everything works together and how I need to wire the mo.Unit, mo.Button, mo.Switch, and ignition lock. Please keep in mind that the wire sizes are just for the bench-test. Check the manual for all the installation information. On one of the pages you can find all the required wire sizes.
