WARNING: CONTAINS ADULT LANGUAGE! And so begins my 30TH PMV SET! You people just HAD to pick the musical with the LONGEST OPENING NUMBER EVER! Seriously, this took FOREVER! I had to divide it into two separate videos and then put them together for this to work! Oh well, at least the hardest is out of the way. I didn't want to do this directly after "My Little Carrie," because that one was also "Equestria Girls" and Twilight-centered. But you voted for this musical to be next (159 out of 443 votes), so I have to do it. Alright, I KNOW a lot of people wanted Sunset Shimmer to be Veronica Sawyer. Believe me, I considered it. But in terms of clips, and especially in terms of this opening number, Twilight was the best way to go. I mean Veronica starts out a geek and then gets a makeover from the Heathers...something I couldn't show with Sunset. Not to mention I needed Sunset Shimmer for another role for which she had the PERFECT clips! The casting of the Heathers was a no-brainer. After re-listening to the soundtrack several times, I realized there was probably just enough of the Dazzlings to suit the songs. Surprisingly, they actually don't take up much of the soundtrack (despite them being the titular characters). I think you can tell the reasoning behind the individual choices, even if you've never seen the musical or movie. On a side note, do NOT watch the new "Heathers" TV show! It's a train wreck, and totally ruins the purpose of the original! Not to mention it's a case of minority inclusion gone wrong!
