PyeongChang 2018 - OBS Broadcast Theme Music

Copyright (c) 2018 Olympic Broadcasting Services The XXIII Olympic Winter Games were held between 9 and 25 February 2018, in the Korean county of PyeongChang, in Gangwon-do province. These were the first of three consecutive Olympic Games to be held in East Asia, the following two set to be the postponed Summer Olympics in Tokyo, in 2021, and the 2022 Winter Games in Beijing. The PyeongChang Games are televised by a number of broadcasters throughout the world. As with previous years, Olympic Broadcasting Services together with Japan's NHK produces the world feed provided to local broadcasters for use in their coverage, including about 90 hours of content captured in 8K. The Games are broadcast in ultra-high resolution and high dynamic range in select markets. In South Korea, terrestrial UHD broadcasts employ ATSC 3.0 standard, launched on May 31, 2017 by SBS, MBC, and KBS in major South Korean markets such as Seoul and Incheon. Throughout the 2018 Winter Games, parts of Korean folk song "Arirang" were often heard many times, especially during the opening ceremony, and even this one, which was used for OBS during its worldwide transmissions of the Games. This rendition was composed and produced by Bath-based Zec Music Ltd.
