The smallest and quickest police escort for a World Leader? (British PM)

Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) Special Escort Group (SEG) performing what is potentially the shortest escort run they ever do on a regular basis, escorting the current British Prime Minister Boris Johnson from Downing Street to the Palace of Westminster. A journey that can last just under minute and travelling approximately 600 yards using the bare minimum (for a British Prime Minister) of 4 police outriders, 2 unmarked and one single marked armoured Range Rover. The trip isn't uncommon and is usually conducted weekly as part of "PMQs" or Prime Minister's Questions where the PM arrives at the Palace of Westminster to answer questions from Members of Parliament. This short clip was created to demonstrate the minimalistic security resources possibly ever used publicly when escorting the PM. Ofcourse he's doesn't get a blue light escort everywhere he goes and the SEG only escort those who need it which would be determined by risk assessments and other additional elements. SEG do not always use the same route as this is partly what makes them unique. An example is the last clip where you see the PM being escorted from the Palace of Westminster via an alternative exit. It's solely up to the SEG to decide what route the PM, or any high risk/significant cargo, should take. In recent months the PM has been seen to travel in his fleet of armoured Range Rovers as it is suggested he prefers these vehicles that are more spacious for him compared to the usual Prime Ministerial vehicle the Jaguar XJ Sentinel, which have been depleted by crashes and breakdowns since 2010 and are due to be replaced. Due to the current climate Jaguar had stopped production of the XJ Sentinel which leaves the PM of possibly using a BMW or Mercedes in the near future. This would mean it would be the first non-British ministerial car in history. Jaguar are expecting to launch a new version of the XJ Sentinel in 2022.
