The interior of Uglytruck my 2000 Silverado 1500 has seen better days, and the dashboard was cracked beyond repair, so it was time to do something about it, and make a few more upgrades at the same time. A short time ago, I had the opportunity to grab a complete interior from a 2001 GMC Yukon Denali, and now its getting transplanted into my GMT800 Silverado, which means its getting a new instrument cluster, new center console, new dash top, and of course the new cluster bezel, transforming the inside of my Silverado into a near denali. These steps are specific for a 1999-2002 silverado and sierra, but the same basic concepts can apply for the later 2003 to 2007 silverado and sierra as well. Also, we're wiring in a drivers information center/trip computer or DIC into the console to help keep track of the silverado fuel mileage from the turbo big block.
