Carlo wants Gabrielle to continue searching for Tina’s car. He reminds her of the leverage he holds over her, in the form of the cassette tape from Tina’s bedroom the night Johnny was shot. Lucky celebrates taking over the Stoplight club. Viki is suspicious about how Lucky got the money for the club; she asks if Asa paid him off to try and scare Carlo out of town. Lucky deflects, but Viki saw him and Asa with their heads together. She admits she came up with the idea to make Carlo think there was a hit out on him. Lucky admits he was in front of the hotel the night of the accident, but he didn’t see the driver’s face. He admits he did see long hair–blond or red–so he’s certain the driver was a woman. Jake causes a scene when a security guard tells him Chad will need him to wait before meeting with him. Shooting is paused due to the ruckus, and yells at Jake, asking what he’s doing on set. Jake wraps Megan in a sheet and carries her off set (still yelling). In her dressing room, the two have it out while Chad and a berobed Hunter bang on the door, demanding to be let in. Security unlocks the door and tells Jake to leave immediately or he’ll call the police. After Jake and Hunter nearly come to blows, Megan intervenes, asking for some time alone with Jake. Jake tells Megan he cares about her while Chad and Hunter are just using her. They kiss, but Jake breaks it off and says he just got carried away. Cord is concerned that Tina doesn’t seem to be feeling well and he suggests she get checked out. Tina agrees to go to the hospital, check in on Renee, and see Larry. At the hospital, Troy tells Renee they found a chip of red automotive paint on her clothing, so he’s hopeful they’ll be able to track down the make and model of the car. He also says the forensic team was able to pull skid marks off the road which should bring them even closer. After Troy and Cord step outside, Renee asks Tina if she’s gotten the car fixed yet, and Tina says she hasn’t had a chance, with Cord hovering over her all the time. Rika asks Kerry why he hasn’t called her, and that sets Kerry off. He says she’s been ignoring, evading, and dissing him. Rika says Dale is Sheila’s choice for her, not her own choice. But when Kerry leans in to kiss her, Rika says he’s misinterpreting her and she just wants to be friends. Kerry says he has enough friends and he wants to be more than that. He kisses her and she kisses him back. Tina asks Gabrielle to cover for her with Cord so she can go back to Llanfair now, skipping the checkup. Gabrielle asks why the mystery, but Tina says Cord is just hovering and driving her nuts. When Tina leaves, Gabrielle calls Carlo and says the car is in Llanfair. Viki stops by to visit Renee and bring her an update on what she learned from Lucky. Gabrielle tries to listen at the door, but a nurse chases her off. Viki tells Renee the driver was a woman; Renee tries to convince her not to tell the police. Viki is dumbfounded and says this information could help the police figure out who hit her. Renee says she doesn’t need that because she knows who hit her. Renee tells her friend it was Tina who hit her. Renee explains Tina was on her way to confront Carlo and get him to leave Cord alone, but Renee swears it was an accident. Renee says she won’t press charges or testify against Tina, but Vik says that doesn’t matter, since Tina attempted vehicular homicide. Renee tells Viki she sent Tina to go get the car fixed, but Viki says there’s no way Tina could pull off such a deception. Megan returns to set and tells Hunter she’s ready to resume filming. Tina returns to the shed at Llanfair where she’s hidden her car. As she examines the damage, she relives the accident. She is about to back the car out when she looks behind her to see Carlo standing there. Carlo tells Tina to get out of the car, he says he knows she was the one who struck Renee. Carlo says he has no affection for the police department and would rather they settle this between them. He offers his silence in exchange for Tina allowing him to adopt her unborn child. Tina refuses.
