She holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Health Science, a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology and a Master’s of Science in Occupational Therapy with a Pediatric Specialization Certificate. She is a Certified Rhythm Works Integrative Dance Instructor with training in using dance, rhythm and music to improve life skills across various learner types. Miss K has been utilizing music and rhythm combined with occupational therapy principles to improve student success for years, and has seen noticeable improvements when utilizing these strategies. She loves providing the tools to help children shine and be their best, most confident selves. MISS J Miss J is a Certified Special Education Teacher who holds her Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood/Childhood Education and her Master’s Degree in Childhood Special Education. She has years of experience working with children of varying ages, who have intellectual, cognitive, emotional or physical disabilities. She is a Certified Rhythm Works Integrative Dance Instructor and co-created the first inclusive dance class in her community. She is inspired by the growth and confidence that she witnesses when using rhythm and purposeful lyrics to help learners reach their goals. It is her passion to have a positive impact on children by creating enjoyable and memorable learning experiences, both in and out of the classroom. She feels that there is nothing more rewarding than watching faces fill with smiles of accomplishment.
