Flashlights have come a long way since then, so why has this stuck in the rotation? In this video I consider the unique tailcap keychain attachment and why it has worked out for me. Truth is I just am not enough of a flashaholic to carry around a light separately on a pocket clip unless I'm camping or doing something special. I don't mind the twisty cap or the simple settings. It has a great emitter. And I love that it simply takes a single aaa cell battery which has been a lifesaver when I've been on the road without a battery charger. In short, it was a very practical use of fifty bucks and I think it still is a good value if you want a keychain light that isn't disposable. Is it the best EDC? How do you define best?
