Please note all our UVB lights are tested before shipping. There is a chance of damage to the bulb during shipping but can you please double check some things before we send you seek a replacement: Please note a rattling noise from the fluorescent tube is normal. There are metals in the tube which generate the UVB photons when the tube is energised and the metals then vapourise. Test the power is on in the socket you are using.Check the power lead is pushed firmly into the light fixture.  With the power off please twist the fluorescent tube a little until it is about 90 Degrees to the angle it was pushed in. Power on and test. If it does not power up in a few seconds please power off, twist the tube a little and try again If it still does not start up contact us.
