Slowly, as the weather has begun to make me feel the chill in the air, it won't be long until shorter days and colder temperatures are upon us. Autumn however, has its own unique charisma of ardent calmness. The gorgeous foliage of amber, crimson, and vivid yellow hues is nature's way of bidding adieu to what has sprung in the spring and summer that nurtured our beings. Autumn exudes of warmth, earthly, and the draw of ingathering personal introspection and quiet gratitude. Autumn a season that has its own heavenly smell of nature, harvest, dishes being prepared for days, that call us home and gather together on Thanksgiving Day. Baked one of my favorite pastry, the blueberry scone which is an amalgamation of recipes making it my own signature fashion.
