This was one of the highlights of my recent trip to Japan, a first class product on Tohoku shinkansen E5-series Hayabusa. I love Japan, and I love Japanese trains, there's just so much variety. I've travelled in Green class before on Tokaido shinkansen N700-series Nozomi. Absolutely loved the Gran class, I got to spend three hours on it on Tokyo-Sendai-Tokyo routing. Perhaps a bit costly, but then again, it's quick, the hard & soft products are excellent, and it's always bang on time. So money well spent, I'd say.
