Naga Biggest Mass Wedding - 13 Couples Wedded at Laii (Vafiimai/Gaziphema) Baptist Church

A mass wedding ceremony took place at Laii Baptist Church under Poumai Naga Baptist Association (PNBA) today where 13 couples were solemnized by Rev Th Loly Awuh, local Pastor of the church. The Laii Baptist made a resolution that a mass wedding would be performed once a year during December. The Church Council took the resolution to encourage holy marriage and discourage elopement to reduce the burden of parents in arranging big weddings and to save time as well.
