ABOUT THIS VIDEO It’s now becoming more easier for students who come from all parts of the world to go to continental Europe without the IB diploma. The International Baccalaureate Diploma Program has been a rigorous curriculum that is recognized in many countries to help a student be a well prepared college/university student. In my research, I have learned (contrary to what I use to believe) that there are many universities that do not require the full IB diploma. 1. Look at “American” Universities in Europe that offer an American style curriculum and entrance requirements. 2. Many times, students want to attend an American University, but the distance is far from their home country. Proximity to home. Some students want to stay within a 10 hour flight. Staying in continental Europe allows that flexibility by attending a sister campus. 3. Depending on your school or curriculum, you need to check the entry requirements. Most universities outside of the united states will want you to demonstrate the most demanding course work offered at your school. A US high school diploma may not be enough to meet entry requirements. 4. Take the SAT or ACT exams and possibly SAT 2 exams. 5.
