It helps to remove any negativity or impurity associated with the wealth. Protection from Calamities: Giving Sadqa is believed to protect individuals from various calamities and misfortunes. It serves as a means of seeking Allah's protection. Multiplication of Wealth: Islam teaches that charity does not decrease wealth; rather, it leads to an increase in blessings and prosperity. Intercession on the Day of Judgment: Sadqa can intercede on behalf of the giver on the Day of Judgment, seeking forgiveness and mercy from Allah. Attainment of Allah's Pleasure: Charity is a means of attaining Allah's pleasure and earning His rewards, which are far greater than any material gain in this world. Eradication of Sins: Sadqa is considered a way to expiate sins and seek forgiveness for wrongdoings. Tarika (Method) of Giving Sadqa: Niyyah (Intention): Before giving Sadqa, it is essential to have a sincere intention (niyyah) for the sake of Allah. The act of charity should be solely for pleasing Allah and helping those in need. Choosing Worthy Recipients: It is important to ensure that the charity is given to those who are eligible to receive it. Islam emphasizes helping the poor, orphans, widows, and those facing financial difficulties. Giving Regularly: Consistency in giving charity, even if the amount is small, is encouraged in Islam. Regular acts of charity are more beloved to Allah than sporadic and large donations. Maintaining Secrecy: It is recommended to maintain the secrecy of one's charitable acts. Doing so ensures that the intention remains pure and that the act is solely for the sake of Allah. Choosing the Right Time: While charity can be given at any time, there are specific occasions and times, such as during Ramadan or on Fridays, when the reward for charitable acts is believed to be multiplied. Diversifying Forms of Charity: Charity can take various forms, including financial assistance, providing food, supporting education, or helping in any way that alleviates the suffering of others.
