Hi everyone! EDIT: quick update, I've had to mute a couple of the background music due to copyright. Sorry! Hopefully the quiet sewing will still be enjoyable. Following on from making a new early Edwardian corset, I decided to complete my new undergarments by making a pair of combinations. Combinations are a one-piece layer that can replace the chemise. I found some one-piece patterns, but I didn't like any of them. I did read in my research that it was acceptable to join a chemisette/corset cover and drawers into a one-piece, so I drafted some drawers and draped the corset cover. I used three different kinds of lace and a striped, textured cotton. They didn't colour match, so I tea dyed the cotton and set it with vinegar. I really enjoy the outcome! Following soon will be an early Edwardian walking suit, hopefully dated around 1901-1904. I have an inspiration Pinterest board here: https://www.pinterest.co.uk/catscostu... Here is the book I mentioned: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Voice-Fashio...
