Instead, Beloit came ready to play and gave the Warhawks a battle all the way to the end. Luckily, with 11 minutes left after unloading with shot after shot, corner kick after corner kick, Faizan finally found the perfect spot to put it onto the head of Andrew Phillips where he headed the ball into the net for the lone goal of the game. UW-Whitewater takes the win, preserves the unbeaten record to 5-0, and records yet another shutout on the season. Well done guys. The first real test of the season comes tomorrow night in Decorah Iowa where the Warhawks will face off against an arch rival, Luther College, who Whitewater has not beaten since 2007.
