Wilson Asset Management Chair Geoff Wilson has warned the current government has not "delivered” following the announcement the Albanese-led administration will explore reforms to the negative gearing policy. “It is incredibly disappointing – you’ve got a government that we all had very high hopes for initially, particularly Jim Chalmers as treasurer and they really haven’t delivered,” Mr Wilson told Sky News Australia. “About a year ago they broke one of their promises … now there’s potentially another tax change. “Australia needs a serious rethink.”
