Who knew I was about to make friends with lots of Gurung students in Nepal?! I also never knew I would be crashing their student farewell party lol. Nepalese people are very kind and welcoming, I felt very safe and warm whenever I travel to different small villages across Nepal. This time, I'm visiting Ghermu. The village has stolen my heart since my first visit in 2023 because of how beautiful it is with mountain views, waterfall and the fields. You have to hike around 30 minutes from downhill to the village, which makes it so special because you get to befriend the nature on your way up! The people were super friendly and the foods are even more amazing. This time, they are sharing their kimchi with us as a replacement of their achar (pickled veggies). It was also the season for wildberries, so you would see youngsters climbing the trees to savor the delicious, tangy, and sweet berries. I would definitely come back again and again!
