Write in comments and I'll give you remaining part of text communications (Read if subtitles in video were fast): BAW8TK: Departure, Speedbird 8TK, 3900 feet, climbing 6000 feet, NUMBA 3F DEPARTURE. APPROACH: Speedbird 8TK, Krakow Approach, dzień dobry (good day), identified, climb FL280. BAW8TK: Speedbird 8TK, we’ve got a problem with ... our flaps are frozen at the moment. We'd like to maintain 6000 feet for the time being, please. APPROACH: Speedbird 8TK, roger, climb and maintain 6000 feet altitude, QNH 1017 and report intentions. BAW8TK: Climb and maintain 6000 feet, QNH 1017. We’ll call you back with intentions shortly, Speedbird 8TK. BAW8TK: Departure, Speedbird 8TK, we have lost flaps and we need to maintain slow speed, roughly 160 knots. Is there a hold we could take up in your local area, please? APPROACH: …provide you with holding. So just initially continue standard departure and maybe close to LIGDI will be a good point, that's maybe 15 miles north-west of the airport. BAW8TK: Roger, we’ll continue the departure to LIGDI and take up hold at LIGDI, Speedbird 8TK. APPROACH: Speedbird 8TK, hold over LIGDI with right turns at 6000 feet, QNH 1017. If you want closer to the airport, advise. BAW8TK: Speedbird 8TK, we'll take up the hold at LIGDI at 6000, 1017, right hand turns. BAW8TK: Krakow, Speedbird 8TK, we’re declaring an emergency with PAN-PAN, PAN-PAN, PAN-PAN. We have lost flaps. Taking up the hold at LIGDI. It’s going to take us about 20 minutes to make a decision whether to return to Krakow or divert to another airfield. We’ll advise. APPROACH: Speedbird 8TK, Approach, roger, PAN-PAN. APPROACH: Speedbird 8TK, Krakow Airport is behind you at 7 o’clock, 15 miles… track 140. And you have another airport, Katowice Airport, at your almost 12 o’clock, 20 miles. So you are in between two airports. BAW8TK: Speedbird 8TK, thank you for that information, we are just working through some checklists. And we will be looking for landing distance that we require and we will also need engineering support. We’re just trying to decide which airport will be best for our return. And we will keep you updated, thank you, Speedbird 8TK, for the information. APPROACH: Roger, in Katowice they have a lot longer runway. BAW8TK: Thank you, Speedbird 8TK. APPROACH: Speedbird 8TK, Approach. BAW8TK: Go ahead, Speedbird 8TK. ------ This is maximum I can write here. Do you want more? Write in comments and I'll give you remaining part of text communications ------ THE VALUE OF THIS VIDEO: THE MAIN VALUE IS EDUCATION. This reconstruction will be useful for actual or future air traffic controllers and pilots, people who plan to connect life with aviation, who like aviation. With help of this video reconstruction you’ll learn how to use radiotelephony rules, Aviation English language and general English language (for people whose native language is not English) in situation in flight, which was shown. THE MAIN REASON I DO THIS IS TO HELP PEOPLE TO UNDERSTAND EVERY EMERGENCY SITUATION, EVERY WORD AND EVERY MOVE OF AIRCRAFT. HOW I DO VIDEOS: 1) I monitor media, airspace, looking for any non-standard, emergency and interesting situation. 2) I find communications of ATC unit for the period of time I need. 3) I take only phrases between air traffic controller and selected flight. 4) I find a flight path of selected aircraft. 5) I make an animation (early couple of videos don’t have animation) of flight path and aircraft, where the aircraft goes on his route. 6) When I edit video I put phrases of communications to specific points in video (in tandem with animation). 7) Together with my comments (voice and text) I edit and make a reconstruction of emergency, non-standard and interesting situation in flight.
