The idea is that you play Randy Random on rough mode with permadeath turned on (commitment mode) and you have to keep whatever colonists that are first generated by default - you are playing with whatever hand is dealt to you while landing in a random area. Because this challenge run is set on commitment mode, which is permadeath mode, there's no guarantee that it will be a long series or short lived.
