Welcome to our big adventure of fulfilling our dream of moving to the Scottish countryside for a more rural and rustic lifestyle! 🏡🐾🍂🌳🌲 Join us Johnny, Adam, and our Labrador Benji as we embark on this exciting journey. In this video, we share the next chapter of our journey as we transition from our new build home to our dream cottage in the heart of the Scottish Southern Uplands. After living in our new build for 3 years, we were ready to find a property that truly reflected our love for charm, character, and the tranquility of the countryside. But it wasn't easy - between the challenges of the Scottish 'offers over' system and being repeatedly outbid on properties we loved, it often felt like an uphill battle. Join us as we talk about the strategies we used to overcome these challenges, and how we finally found a charming 174-year-old cottage nestled in the picturesque Southern Uplands. We put in an offer, got it accepted, and then set out to sell our own home. After a few viewings, we accepted an offer, and now our dream of moving to the countryside is starting to feel like a reality.
