The Spitfire has been off the road due to a vibrating noise that has been slowly getting louder. It's speed dependent, not RPM dependent, but after replacing wheel bearings at all 4 corner, all of the universal joints, rotating the tires to see if the noise moves, and even taking a look inside the differential... the only thing left to check is the gearbox. (Don't worry... all those other things did need some kind of attention anyway). Watch as we disassemble the gearbox, locate the problem, and build it back up to give trouble free driving!
