Lord Nityānanda vande 'nantādbhutaiśvaryaṁ śrī-nityānandam īśvaram yasyecchayā tat-svarūpam ajñenāpi nirūpyate. Let me offer my obeisances to Lord Śrī Nityānanda, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, whose opulence is wonderful and unlimited. By His will, even a fool can understand His identity Lord Śrī Kṛṣṇa is the absolute Personality of Godhead, and His first expansion in a form for pastimes is Śrī Balarāma. That original Lord Kṛṣṇa appeared in Navadvīpa as Lord Caitanya, and Balarāma apaepred with Him as Lord Nityānanda. Saṅkarṣaṇa, Śeṣa Nāga and the Viṣṇus who lie on the Kāraṇa Ocean, Garbha Ocean and ocean of milk are His plenary portions and the portions of His plenary portions. In these five forms Lord Balarāma assists Lord Kṛṣṇa in His activities. Lord Nityānanda Prabhu, who is the same servitor Godhead, Balarāma, performs the same service to Lord Gaurāṅga by constant association. Lord Gaurāṅga appeared along with Lord Nityānanda in this age of Iron to deliver the fallen souls. They propagated the means for attaining perfection which is the congregational chanting of Kṛṣṇas holy names. The goal or the perfection, this process provides is pure love of Godhead. Lord Gaurāṅga freely distributed this matchless gift to anyone who was willing to accept it. Lord Nityānanda gave it even to those who where the most fallen. There is no limit to Lord Nityānanda’s mercy. By surrendering to His Lotus feet one can please Lord Gaurāṅga. By pleasing Lord Gaurāṅga one will certainly develop pure Love of Godhead.
