Bird Bath Converted To Water Feature

My DIY outdoor water fountain project where I turned my plain old bird bath into a water fountain waterfall feature with LED Color lighting. Using a plastic half whiskey barrel and drilling a hole into the top and base of the bird bath I was able to convert my existing concrete bird bath into a nice little water feature. Pump used is 800 L/hr (210 gal/hr). LED light ring and the pump came assembled as one unit, wired together. Two low voltage color changing LED flood lights were used as up-lighting. I added silicone caulking and Teflon tape to the lights to prevent water penetration. Each wire was cut and fed through the back of the whiskey barrel and silicone caulking was used on the inside around the wire to prevent leakage. Each wire must go through its own individual hole. Some advice, do not feed all of the wires through one hole or it will leak. Finally, I respliced the wires and connected the lights to my low voltage lighting system and the pump is powered on a timer with AC (110-120V).
